Five local small businesses were recognized Wednesday by the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce for their contributions to the San Diego community and economy through the annual Small Business Awards.
“It is no secret: small businesses are the backbone of our region’s economy, fueling innovation, creating jobs, and bringing character to our communities,” said Jerry Sanders, Chamber President and CEO.
The five winning businesses are:
Stronger Together Community Services — Winner of the Neighborhood All-Star Award, recognizing a small business that epitomizes community spirit, fostering connections and making a significant and positive impact within its neighborhood.
Sonia’s Healthy Corner — Winner of the Community Minded Award which recognizes an organization dedicated to helping others or leading an initiative/program focused on making a positive impact in the community.
Snake Oil Cocktail Co. — Winner of the Customers First Award for exemplary customer service
Pure Health Alliance – Winner of the Outstanding Minority, Woman, LGBTQIA+ or DBE-Owned Business Award which celebrates the success of a small business contributing to the growth and diversity of the San Diego economy.
Lonesome Rider Coffee — Winner of the Exceptional Veteran-Owned Business Award which celebrates a veteran-owned small business that has attained outstanding business achievement in its field.
