The San Diego Clippers have unveiled their schedule for the 2024-25 G League season, the team’s first at the new Frontwave Arena in Oceanside.
Led by head coach Paul Hewitt, the Clippers will begin the season in Oceanside on Nov. 8 against Rip City Remix.
For the fourth season, the G League schedule will be split into two-parts, with a newly developed 16-game Tip-off Tournament and a traditional 34-game regular season.
The tournament also begins on Nov. 8 and will culminate at the 2024 NBA G League Winter Showcase in December. Following the event, team records will reset in advance of the regular season, beginning Dec. 27.
The Clippers play their first regular season game that day against the Memphis Hustle.
Courtside and season tickets for the upcoming season are on sale for the G League Clippers, founded in the 2017-2018 season. The team played seven seasons in Ontario.
The Oceanside iteration of the Clippers hearkens back to the Los Angeles Clippers’ days in San Diego. The NBA team, which moved to San Diego in 1978, left for L.A. in 1984.
Frontwave Arena, with a 7,500-capacity and an outdoor plaza for performances, activities, and more, will open this month.
