The Padres may be heading to Dodger Stadium, but fans still may gather at Petco Park to root them on for the first two games of the National League Division Series.
Gallagher Square at Petco Park will host Postseason Watch Parties at 5:38 p.m. Saturday and 5:03 p.m. Sunday for Games 1 and 2 against the Dodgers, with the game to be shown on the 75-foot wide videoboard on the Sycuan Stage.
The action shifts to Petco Park for Game 3 Tuesday, and if needed, Game 4 Wednesday. Another watch party will be held Oct. 11, for Game 5, if needed.
Tickets to the watch parties are $5 for adults and complimentary for children under 36 inches in height. Each household can purchase up to six tickets, which will only be available online.
Limited parking is available to pre-purchase at the Padres Parkade, Tailgate Park and Lexus Premier Lot.
There will be several activities, including photo opportunities with both the Play Ball Field and Nuna Playground open, along with the Padres Team Store and concessions in Power Alley and in Gallagher Square.
The Padres (93-69), seeded fourth in the NL, will play the top-seeded Dodgers (98-64) after sweeping their Wild Card Series against the Braves. The Friars eliminated the heavily favored Dodgers in the division round two years ago.
