FANCLB, a loyalty and membership program that aims to inspire the next generation of fan engagement, has partnered with the 16-time indoor champion San Diego Sockers, to strengthen the bond between the team and its fans.
Having been public for four years, FANCLB is partnered with Frontwave Arena, CaliFino, San Diego Sockers and the Clippers, while finalizing another deal with TikTok.
The Sockers, a major arena indoor soccer league team and one of the most successful in history, is launching an fan engagement program through FANCLB that allows fans to build relationships with the team for better experiences. The goal is to focus on community activities that ensure fans remain loyal and involved for seasons to come.
Inspiring Generation Z in the world of sports, FANCLB is bringing on content, video and social media creators to build a “worldwide community of sports creators,” said Jordan Andrews, FANCLB’s creative director.
“We’re providing them (creators) with not only the opportunity to work with these different sports teams, but to also have different rewards from their content,” said Andrews. “We’re looking to support and add more of a healthy foundation for content creators long-term.”
A Sockers fan all his life, 20-year-old Ethan Dorrell, believes this new partnership will help build new fans’ connections with the team quickly.
“This will help them (new fans) feel closer to the club a lot faster,” said Dorrell. “They’re (the Sockers) going to have to build new connections up north (with the move to Oceanside) and hopefully this will help them do that faster.”
Fans will get to engage in local activities, exclusive events and have opportunities to interact with their favorite players.
“We are thrilled to partner with the San Diego Sockers,” said Moody Hashem, CEO and founder of FANCLB. “Our mission is to create strong, engaged communities around this team, providing fans with unique and memorable experiences that foster long-term loyalty.”
The program will also feature event activations across San Diego and in-arena fan experiences at the Sockers’ new home in Oceanside, Frontwave Arena, a 7,500-capacity venue with 16 luxury suites, VIP viewing decks, exclusive lounges and an open-air patio.
“The FANCLB partnership allows us to offer our fans something truly special,” said Phil Salvagio, the San Diego Sockers owner. “We are excited about the potential to create deeper connections and build a stronger community.”
The Sockers season begins in December.
